PT-50

Newtec fabricates the Polytec 50 curtain walling systems for single or multi-story commercial projects by using a combination of REHAU PVC-U, steel and aluminum profiles, with slim sight lines of just 2” throughout the systems. The intelligent use of PVC-U in certain sections ensures an outstanding thermal insulation of down to 0.28 U-Factor and pleasing warm touch on the inside. The use of steel sections as reinforcement ensures slim profile depth and outstanding structural capabilities. Aluminum pressure plates and cover caps on the outside provide a familiar appearance like standard aluminum systems. Polytec 50 hybrid curtain wall system combines the economics of polymer materials with the advantages of conventional transom/mullion construction, with the same profile acting as both transom and mullion helping to eliminate wastage.   • Warm touch and elegant appearance on the inside
  • Thermal Insulation achieved a U-value of 0.28 by using a 1" glass (3/16" Clear – 21/32" air space 90% Argon filled and a 3/16" Low-E) according to NFRC tests. Great reduction of CO2 emission and energy costs.
  • Fully encased steel reinforcement ensures slim profile and structural competency.
